Occupying approximately 8.7 square miles, the area is now home to a population of over 32,000 residents. This centrally-located town also boasts numerous perks and conveniences — as well as top-rated public schools. Spanaway is located about 26 miles northeast of Olympia, 14 miles south of Tacoma, and roughly eight miles southeast of Lakewood.

Spanaway Park isn’t just another park. This 135-acre space features the Lake Spanaway Golf Course, a playground, swimming, a covered picnic area, winding trails, and access to the Bresemann Forest.
Those seeking a delightful day on or near the water should definitely explore Spanaway Lake. On this body of water, there are spots to go fishing, swimming, and boating. Blocks away from the park and lake is Holiday Park JBLM. This family-friendly campground is another beautiful spot to soak in the gorgeous weather and views found only in the Pacific Northwest.
